1.4.10Harpenau Family Christmas

by Kim

We spent December 26th at my Grandma Harpenau’s in Bloomington.  It was the first time since Jake and I got married we were able to stay the whole day.  I always love eating the snack food and playing games all afternoon.

We spend Christmas Day with Jake’s family.  All the kids had so much fun opening gifts and playing with some of their new toys in the afternoon.

1.2.10Christmas Morning

by Kim

When Zachary woke up Christmas morning, he discovered Santa had been by to visit and left him some gifts under the tree.  He was not really sure what to do next.  Jake and I helped him with the wrapping paper and I must say his favorite thing he opened were socks!

A Dressler Christmas morning tradition is eating my Grandma’s homemade donuts.  This year Zach got two of his own and he was so cute eating them!!!!

1.2.10Christmas Eve

by Kim

This year was different than years past.  For the first time in 31 years I did not spend Christmas Eve in El Paso.  With my sister on vacation and Zachary old enough to know a little of what all the craziness is about, we started our new family tradition…Christmas Eve in Tinley Park.  We attended Jake’s church and then picked up Little Caesar’s pizza on the way home for dinner.  Before bedtime, Zach wrote Santa a letter and left him some cookies and milk.  Jake and I ended the evening watching one of my favorite movies, Christmas Vacation.
