1.2.10Christmas Eve

This year was different than years past. For the first time in 31 years I did not spend Christmas Eve in El Paso. With my sister on vacation and Zachary old enough to know a little of what all the craziness is about, we started our new family tradition…Christmas Eve in Tinley Park. We attended Jake’s church and then picked up Little Caesar’s pizza on the way home for dinner. Before bedtime, Zach wrote Santa a letter and left him some cookies and milk. Jake and I ended the evening watching one of my favorite movies, Christmas Vacation.

It was very different not having a Dressler Christmas Eve, but we’re very happy that new traditions could be started with Kim and Brianne’s families. Marie and I also watched Christmas Vacation(best movie ever made). (-:
