I was just goofing around and put my black headband on Zach.  I guess he liked it because he wore it around the house for a bit.  Jake and I just laughed and laughed!

This past weekend, Jake, Zach and I went to Collinsville with Jake’s parents and his uncle Woody.  This was Zachary’s first time meeting his Great Grandma Lunsford.  We had a great time catching up with Jake’s cousins Charlie and Bridget and his Aunt Lona.  We wished the trip was not so short.

We came back a few hours later after Grandma could get some rest.  She was sitting up and looked 100% better.

Today Zachary is 14 months old!  I can not believe it!  Time just keeps flying by.  This past month has been full of all kinds of fun…Christmas, New Years, playing in the snow and finding out he is going to be a big brother.  Zach is on the move for the majority of the day.  I am sometimes very thankful that he really can only run in our kitchen and family room instead of 5 different rooms on the first floor.  He is one curious little boy.  He loves to open and close cabinets and drawers.  He even has his favorite cabinet in the kitchen where he can hide his toys.  I am glad he remembers he puts them in there or else Jake and I would probably be looking for hours.  Zachary is down to one bottle a day and the rest of the time he drinks from a sippy cup.  He did so well with the transition!  He continues to be a great eater.  There is really not a food his dislikes at this point.  His two bottom molars came thru this month.  These molars must be something painful because there were many middle of the night cries of pain!  Just in the past week Zach learned the second verse of “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”  He loves to stomp his feet all the time now!  He continues to tell us all kind of stories with his hand and babbles.  I know one day words are just going to spill out of his mouth.

Svetlana and Tim welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Emma on January 13th!  Today Zachary and I went to meet his newest friend.  She is so precious and has the nicest complexion…looks like she just got back from a tropical vacation!

Zachary found my red scarf one day, so I decided to wrap it around him.  He actually had so much fun running round with a floor length scarf around his neck.  Zach also found my hot pink boa…he liked to drag that around on the floor, but did not care for it wrapped around him.  Jake and I got some good laughs that day watching him!

Well I know this is “old” news, but I just figured out how to scan pictures at home.  We found out this wonderful news on Christmas Eve.  A bit of a surprise for us   We were able to get into my doctor on January 4th to confirm everything and much to our surprise our new baby is due May 29, 2010!  I could not believe that I was already 19 weeks along!!!!  I just covered my face and laughed when the doctor told us.  Thankfully, thru the ultrasound my doctor was able to tell that everything looks great.  I did have one round of blood work done and it came back that I am anemic, so I have to take extra iron each day.  Other than that, I have been feeling great!!!!

Over Christmas, we spent four days at my parents.  One day while playing with Zach, I got out my old doll stroller to see if he would fit.  Zach fit and he had so much fun being pushed around the house!!!!!  Good thing my mom saves a lot of my old toys….never know when they will be used again

We ended our Christmas festivities at my Grandma Dressler’s Monday evening.  I was so happy to eat a gondola from Avanti’s…I do miss that place!

With my sister on vacation over Christmas, we changed it up a little this year.  We celebrated on Monday.  It all worked out great and it did not feel like we were rushing from party to party this year!!!
