5.29.09Zach’s Stay in El Paso

by Kim

Jake and I headed to Vegas over Memorial Day weekend, so Zach got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Dressler for a few days.  We sure did miss him, but we knew Zach was in good hands.  He seemed to have a lot of fun.  Zach got to meet the people Grandma used to work with, a lot of the people in the neighborhood, got to see two of his great grandma’s, see Uncle Steve and Aunt Janet and Aunt Brianne!!!!!!  Grandma and Grandpa did not want to give him back on Monday.

5.28.096 Months Old!!!!!

by Kim

6 Months have gone by and Jake and I are having so much fun with Zachary!!!!  This past month Zach has started to do so many new things.  He now rolls over both ways and if you put him on a blanket he just rolls and rolls.  He is able to sit-up with some support.  He has tried all the veggie baby food and really likes it all except peas :)  We know that his teeth are doing something, but none of them have poked thru yet.  Zach seems to really like being outdoors or being in a place where he can look out the window.  His giggle is the greatest!!!!  Jake usually can make him laugh every night.

We had his 6 month doctor’s appointment yesterday and he now weighs 15lbs 3 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long.  Jake and I can both tell he is starting to fill out and we have had to move into his 3-6 month clothing.  He is our little small fry, but the doc said there is nothing we should be concerned with.

5.12.09I Don’t Like Peas!!!!!

by Kim

Since Zachary has been doing so well eating his oatmeal, we decided to try some veggies.  Jake thought we should start with peas.  Zach was very eager to try them, but after the first taste, he was not too sure about this new food.  I was laughing so hard at the faces he was making!!!!

5.10.09Happy Mother’s Day

by Kim

When Zachary woke up this morning he was wearing such a cute onesie!  Jake had changed him after I went to bed.  Zach also had roses and a very sweet card waiting for me in his room.  What a great 1st Mother’s Day!!!!  We enjoyed the day over at Jake’s parents.

Happy Mother’s Day to Grandma Dressler and Grandma Viravec and Great-Grandma Dressler, Great-Grandma Harpenau, Great-Grandma Lunsford and Great-Grandma Viravecz!!!!!

We got blue slurpees.  Annabel really found it funny that our tongues turned blue.

Annabel read Zach 4 bedtime stories.  She is a great reader!

Annabel and Uncle Jake built a fort.

The next morning before Annabel went home.
