Happy 7th Birthday Annabel!!!!  We hope you have a great day and we are looking forward to you spending the night on Saturday. 

Nicki and Eric Morrison welcomed their beautiful daughter on April 22, 2009.  Zach and I went to meet her yesterday and when we got home Zach was telling Jake he thinks he met his future wife….LOL!

“My mommy has been recycling since she was in high school and even convinced my daddy to recycle at home.  We now only put out one bag of garbage each week and that includes all my diapers!  Please do your part and save the earth for me!!!!”

We celebrated Easter with Jake’s family yesterday.  It was not warm enough to have the Egg Hunt outside, but the kids had a blast finding their eggs around the house.  Zachary was entertained all afternoon by his cousins as were the adults.  I just wish I had half the energy they do

Zachary is 5 months old!  I just can not believe it!!!!!  Seems like we just spend 34 hours at Christ Hospital waiting for his arrival.  It has been a fun month.  I took my first weekend trip away from Zach at the beginning of April.  I sure did miss him, but Zach survived and had a great time hanging out with daddy and grandma V.  We estimate Zach now weighs around 13 pounds.  We can definitely tell he is getting bigger and longer.  His cheeks are filling out and his chicken legs are becoming chubby.  Zach really enjoys bath-time and has discovered he can make some big splashes when he kicks his legs.  Zach rolled from his back to his tummy on the 15th.  We are so proud of him and Jake was able to catch it on video!  Zach has also started to play in his exersaucer.  Though he is still a little short for his feet to touch, he seems to be entertained by all the gadgets attached.

We had a great time at Brianne’s surprise party Friday night at Turtle’s Tap in Dwight.  The food was great!!!!  Zachary did get awfully scared when everyone yelled “surprise”, but we were glad we were able to spend the night with family and Brianne’s friends.

My parents had a house full of family Saturday night to celebrate Easter.  We had a great time with lots of laughs and great food.  Zach was spoiled by everyone!  He got a Cubs shirt, Michael Jordan outfit and his very first laptop.  Now he can work alongside Jake at night doing “work.”

Zach, Jake, my parents and I headed to Secor Saturday afternoon for the town Egg Hunt.  Zach was able to find two eggs and get his picture taken with the bunny again.  We were also able to spend a little time with our friends, Quinn, Patrick and Avery.  All the kids had a great time running around.

I tried to take some “professional” looking pictures at home.  They turned out okay….I still need some practice
