Zachary had his 4 month check-up on Monday night.  He now weighs 12lbs 6oz and is 23 1/4 inches long!  We call him our Small Fry   Zach is in the 10th percentile for his height and weight, but the doctor is not concerned since he continues to gain weight each month.  He got two more shots and did not scream nearly as loud as the first round.  I still got teary eyed….not sure if that will ever change.  The doctor gave us the okay to feed his cereal, but he has been eating oatmeal for almost a month now.  We do have to start feeding it to him by spoon instead of in his bottle.  Everything else checked out great!  We can not believe how fast the time is going by.  Zach is very alert now, loves to play with his toys, puts everything in his mouth and talks and coos to us.  It is like he enjoys telling us about his day when we pick him up.  He makes Jake and I laugh all the time.
